Pink and White Baby Quit

The back is a pink flannel toile!

Big loopy flower quilting
33 inches square
Pink and white fabric squares.
Mitered corners
The back is a pink flannel toile!

Instructions

I just sewed 4 1/2 squares of fabric together randomly (36) and added 4 1/2 inch boders of coordinating fabric. I mitered my borders, but you could use straight set borders and it would look fine! I machine quilted it in a design with large flowers.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Infant/Baby

Style: Traditional, Cute, Romantic

Materials

Laura Ashley fabric squares, Timeless Treasures Toile, Warm & Natural batting, thread

What was your inspiration?

I had a stack of these fabric squares and needed to use them up!

What are you most proud of?

I love the quilting, I did big loopy flowers out of Angela Walters Modern Quilting book.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It's fun to just play with some fabric and come up with something beautiful.
