What was your inspiration?

I have been looking for a pineapple placemat for a long time. I was so happy to find this while looking for a different pattern I had to sit down and make a set and put the other project on hold for awhile.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is a pretty easy pattern..if you are new to crochet then this might be a great project for you.

I bought the book from Annie's Attic a long time ago. The book is The ultimate book of Pineapples..I think I have seen this book in Michael's and Joann's..it is an Annie's Attic publication. Hope that helps

It took me approx 10 hours to make one placemat
