What was your inspiration?
I wanted to make a simple pincushion for my sewing room, and a whole family of them sprouted up.
What are you most proud of?
I'm happy that this project is useful and still so pretty.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use two buttons to cinch in the top. The decorative one on top and a plain but big button on the bottom. Use a long needle and sew through the pincushion connecting the two buttons, pulling the thread tight and secure.
