What was your inspiration?

Wanted to try making a Disappearing 4 patch and I came across this tutorial with a twist on What comes next? (round22.blogspot.com/2012/07/disappearing-4-patch-with-twist.html)

I needed a pincushion so when I made this block up it was the perfect size.

Sorry all.... another cushion of sorts!!!!!!!

What are you most proud of?

How fun, quick and easy it was to make and how it turned out :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Try the disappearing 4 patch blocks and the ones with the twist.

I have two of the disappearing 4 patch blocks made so may continue on and make a little lap quilt with them or maybe a cushion..... haha :)

You obsessed with cushions Desna??? NO! Why on earth would you say that LOL? This is so sweet! Thanks for the link... have checked it out. What size is your pin cushion please? What size 4 patches did you start with? Thinking this might be nice for coasters, what do you think?

Haha... Pam I started with 4" squares, finished block 5". They would make lovely little coasters, may make some myself:)

I love this Desna! Very inspiring. I'll have to check out the link and maybe give this a try. I just completed a BOM kit (1/2 price at JoAnn) and have lots of small triangle sets from trimming geese. This could be the perfect project. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to your next cushion :D
