Mostly cottn, but heavier fabrics can be used for fall. Cute with t-shirt and leotards in cooler weather.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I made up the pattern although you can get commercial patterns. I don't think it is necessary. I just cut two rectangles. The tricky part is the top. I had to make a few to figure out how that worked. And you have to figure the right space to leave for the arms. Not hard at all once you figure it all out.
