I used 2 matching cotton fabrics, coordinating ribbon, thread, and elastic.

What was your inspiration?

I have seen patterns of pillowcase dresses that use ribbon across the top. I made one for my little girl and the first time she wore it she sat down and the ribbons got tight on her little neck. I love the look of the dress but wanted a more secure type of top. I added elastic at the top and attached the ribbon ties to the end of the elastic.

What are you most proud of?

I just love being able to make a dress out of fun, colorful fabric that you do not find in stores and not worrying about her choking.
