What was your inspiration?
While surfing on the web, I spotted these pieced bookmarks and thought they were a great idea.
They are quick to make and can be virtually any block you choose.
What are you most proud of?
I love the opportunity to make something unique, colorful and personal in such a short period of time. These bookmarks say :Hi, I love reading, and pretty things!"
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I made the blocks with foundation piecing. That gives the bookmark alittle more body. If you don't like foundation piecing, you can always use some spray starch to stiffen them up a bit.
