What materials did you use? I used White Kona cotton as the negative space/background fabric. For the burst of color fabrics, I used Jenn Ski's Mod Century by Moda fabric. The backing is also from Jenn Ski's line. The quilting is called "square dance" and was done for me by Maxine R. Moore in Conyers, Georgia.

What are you most proud of? I just LOVE the pattern and how it went together so well with this fabric. My husband was very nervous initially when he saw the fabric, but loved it once the pattern took place with the negative space. I improvised with the size of the pattern because I had to narrow it and lengthen it to make sure it was large enough for the twin bed in my 1966 Airstream Overlander.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Read the instructions carefully, as with all patterns. If you use pre-cut jelly strips of the background fabric, then you could NOT cut your 9" and 11" strips and use the strips WOF and sew on your blocks and then cut them. This would save time (I think). The pattern is well written though, so it was a "Piece of Cake!"
