8mm picture jasper, size 5 brown pony beads , brown glass bugle beads. silver artistic wire, silver crimps, bent nose pliers, round nose pliers and flexible beading wire.
What was your inspiration?
Just to make something brown to use up a few stones I had left from another project.
What are you most proud of?
I love the way I am making my hooks and clasps on some of my projects. They blend in so nicely that even if the bracelet slides around so the hook is on top, it stll looks lovely. I also make a wrapped loop for my hook so there is no chance of it coming apart.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This uses double lengths of beading wire. Make sure it will pass thru your beads. Also make sure you leave yourself extra wire to work with. I would also use a seed bead where the bugle bead meets the stone. I did not do that.
