What was your inspiration?
Two of my dear quilting friends wanted to make this quilt. One even purchased the book Quilt Romance for my birthday as an inticement. She even found a quilt shop in Delaware that was teaching the class. Unfortunately she was not able to take the class but the other friend did travel to Delaware to take the class with me.
My friend did the quilting on her longarm machine.
What are you most proud of?
Foundation/paperpiecing and sewing the curved ellipse.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Practice, practice,practice and patience.
