What materials did you use? Various cotton fabrics sourced locally

What are you most proud of? Nothing at the moment. Except, perhaps, getting photoshop to work the way I wanted.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The blocks may be disparate styles and sizes, but I think the spacers, flying geese and half square triangles help to pull it together. I did not go for the 'scrappy' look as, with so many different sized blocks, I thought it would be too fussy looking.

Hmm. The geese look very green. I mean to make them in the yellow that is seen on the other blocks...

Your quilt looks good. I love your stained glass block.

Thank you. I like the stained glass technique but I'm not sure how well it 'fits' with the scrappy, traditional look of the other blocks.

WOW! Love the "stained glass" block!

Thank you. It took a lot of hand sewing, but the weather was fine so I could work on it outside.

I like your replacement block for the basket. Good choice.

My husband took a serious dislike both to the 'regular' block and to the one I was going to use as a substitute (I have an old magazine with some 1930s applique designs).
