Can you tell us about any special equipment or techniques that you used? Nikon D80, Nikon 35 mm 1.8 lens, iphoto

What are you most proud of? The detail photo. I think it tells the edgy story we were after well (chipped fingernails, funky tights, bleached hem detail) and I am happy with the composition, exposure & focus.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take Caro's course. I know I will review it a lot.

Thanks for a great class Caro! Sofie and I went out this morning and shot these photos of a dress she created. The two full body shots both have issues, but I'm really happy with the detail shot. Thanks to your class I can now recognize where my photo skills need work and how I can strive to improve them.

I'm so excited, K! I think this series looks amazing. I love the colour, the styling and the whole deal!

Thanks Caro! I was thinking about so many things that I learned in your class as I took these, but I still have work to do. On the hero the focus is better on the column that she's leaning against than it is on my subject. Also if you could send Stitchy to NYC to work as my smoother that would be great. I know she would have noticed that unsightly, bulging wrinkle on the left side of Sofie's waist.

The dress is awesome. And I like all the pictures, and the detail one the best of all. There's just something peaceful and well composed about that one.
