What materials did you use? Recycled cotton shirts and skirts, remnants of other quilt and sewing projects

What are you most proud of? The fact that I machine quilted for the first time, and it turned out not too badly!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If I had it to do over, I would have stuck with the lightning bolt style layout, but this one has its appeal

Yahoo on this modern take on the Phone Book quilt! Love the red and turquoise juxtaposition plus the grey/blue print. You have a daring sense of color--look forward to your other creations!

Thank you, Pepper - I machine quilted for the first time - 3/4" apart echo style over the entire surface. Learned how not to do a few things, but am still pleased. It is a bit stiff - think the batting I used and density of the quilting was the cause. Perfect for a floor blanket to put a baby on. :)
