What was your inspiration?
I have a tone of gemstone cabochons that I get from a great lady that hand cuts them, she is the one that opened my eyes to gemstones and using them in my jewelry. I just wanted to highlight the stone and add a little something in the peyote to tie the stone in more.
What are you most proud of?
This was done with no prior design or sketching, just started stitching and it came out perfect. This was also my first time using Lacys stiff stuff and stitching around a cab.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Find some instructions on stitching around a cab and using the stiff stuff, I read an blog posting to learn how to do it properly.
