What was your inspiration?
The early months of spring and the desire to see all of the beautiful flowers after a hard winter inspired this design. The design was developed while the chilly air was still outside and by the time spring air moved in, the finished project bloomed, as well!

What are you most proud of?
I love how addictive this pattern has become for those who have made it. It has become the go-to afghan for those knitters to make when they need a girlie afghan for a baby or lapghan for an adult.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This afghan is knitted with a seed stitch border around the top, bottom, and sides of the blanket. The center panel of the blanket is divided into 5 areas that alternate between St st and lace flowers. A great size for a baby oran adult lapghan!
The lace work is simple and presented in an easy-to-read chart. Grab some tea and start knitting.
