Materials

paton's pirouette yarn for scarf & flower on hat, ribbon chenill yarn & chunky simply soft yarn for hat

What was your inspiration?

making Bree her ruffle scarf & hat turned out to ve quite an adventure, she wanted it to match up with her winter coat, which is the unusual shade of periwinkle blue, by far took the longest time to even find yarn that would go- the perouette ruffle yarn i thought was a bit harder to work with, but in the end it all worked out!

What are you most proud of?

that i managed to find a color combo that looks good with the coat and that in the end Bree will get exactly what she wanted without ever knowing the adventure it took to get there!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

always always check your yarn stash, after looking and looking in stores for something to complement the solid color for her hat, i ended up finding the perfect yarn up in my attic stash!! you just never know...lol

Love this one, too! What lucky, lucky girls! These little sets are just amazing! I know just what you mean about checking the stash. In my case it's the fabric stash that often holds that perfect little scrap.
