What are you most proud of? The fit, the appropriateness of fabric to pattern, and the finished inside seams. Apologize for the photography. My PC doesn't have a good photoshop program.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Follow the instructions. Try them off and on several times during pin fitting. don't get discouraged. One adjustment will cause another. Do one at a time and keep putting them on and off. Use a fitting buddy if you can find one. They don't need to know how to sew, they just need to look at your pattern and see if lines are hanging parallell or fabric is folding. Once you know where the fit issues are, you are instructed how to fix them. Take them off, rebaste and re-fit. Janet is a professional, licensed with Palmer/Pletch and I had these fitted 4-5 times before I could begin to sew them. They are not hard! They just take time.

Nice fit. I have that pattern as well but haven't used it yet. Was it very helpful?

Yes! Very helpful, but don't forget, I had step by step instruction at a class. Even so, the pattern is simple and instructions for fitting are unlike any I've seen in any other pant pattern. I'd suggest you make the flat front slacks first. The instructor said the pleated slacks are sort of out of style and less flattering, but it is a personal preference. Since you might be eliminating front darts, or adding front darts, the pleats add extra things to fuss with. Again, if you fit the pattern tissue correctly first, no need for sewing a muslin. PS fit the pattern tissue snugly. Your fabric will have more ease and will be looser. You will have nice seam allowances so don't fret about going from pattern to fashion fabric. Let me see you progress!
