Omega cotton thread in two different sizes and Clover elastic thread.
What was your inspiration?
I participated in a teapot cosy swap on Crochetville. Once I saw the teapot that my swap partner had, I decided to improvise my own cosy so that the glass portion wasn't covered. The Japanese cherry blossom theme naturally arose from the types of flowering teas that this teapot uses.
What are you most proud of?
I improvised the entire thing AND it fit perfectly!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
There is no pattern at this time, but if I get enough requests for one, I'll replicate it and write it down.
