What was your inspiration?
Have had this "Pepsi Cola: Feeling Free" 100% Cotton fabric since the 1970's, and it has traveled w/me from my home where I grew up, w/me when I served Active Duty Military, and now to my current residence. Will become part of the Lap Quilt displaying many of the fabrics which have either become other projects over the years, &/or will be a gift in the future.
What are you most proud of?
The crisp and flat intersections of the overall January 2012 BOM Quilt Block!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Read all directions and view video w/Amy Gibson as mamy times as you need to PRIOR to slicing anything! Press each seam as you sew; spray starch helps give/maintain shape of the block, especially when 'squaring' to the 12 1/2 inches!
