What materials did you use? Using the methods taught in this class I was able to alter my pattern in the waist area for a better fit. I used a thin piece of gingham broadcloth to test my pattern but ended up liking it so much | wanted to wear it, so I lined it with a thin white cotton broadcloth. Because it was lined I used Barbara's method of bias facings to finish the neck, arm holes and hem, it looks so professional! I almost gave up on the top a couple of times, I changed the darts 3 times, but I could hear Barbara saying..."It's not rocket science, just sewing" Thanks, Barbara, for a wonderful class.

Great job. Isn't it fun to be able to make clothes that actually fit?

I love gingham. This is so nicely done. Great for summertime too. And by the way, sometimes I think rocket science might be easier than altering a pattern. HAHA
