What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid to cut into your pattern. If you are on a diet sew quickly. I lost enough weight that I'm not going to bother with finishing details. So of course, with the help of this class I'm making another one!

Hi Tanja H. I hope you decide to post photos of the king quilt you are wokring on. You can contact me at my gmail account. Check out my profile bio, at the bottom is my email info. P.S. my 10 ft. quilt can accomodate up to 112" width. Hope to hear from you. Your friend, Linda

I do plan to post pix.of the quilt. I'm starting tomorrow. We're fighting over the quilting pattern. It's a geometric quilt that only wants patterns with right angles and I want something with curves. BTW, I do talk to and argue with my projects and sometimes I even win! I will definitely give you a virtual ring!

Your zipper reminds me of Project Runway designs. Love it! May try an external zip myself some day. I too am losing weight - strict diet from doctor- but I guess I can keep sewing. maybe some designs that lend themselves to alterations.

Thank so much, I love Project Runway! To fit my changing body, I've been making more knits. They will adj to my body and I can wear them for awhile.

Love your designs! It's great to see designs that are actually on trend and stylish! More to come, I hope.

I particularly like the fabric choice and the beautiful job you did on the piping. You may be too small to wear it, but someone is going to be the recipient of a lovely gift!!

Thank you so much! I'm gifting it to my sis and I'm making a skirt to go with it. I think she'll like it.

If the skirt looks anything like the top she's going to have a very elegant outfit! --And how lucky for her that she has such a generous sister!

Thank you, I hope she likes it!
