Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: SatinIce fondant and Gumpaste, lace moulds, various flower and leaf cutters, pearl white lustre dust, sugar glue, ivory ribbon, round and petal shaped boards, wires and stamens for peony.

What are you most proud of? The whole effect of the finished cake. I originally put a white rose on it but wasn't completely happy. As soon as I changed it for the ivory peony with white sparkly stamens the whole cake came to life :-)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time and prepare all your cutters in advance.
