What was your inspiration?

I belong to our church's altar art group. We design and make special arrangements, decorations and some banners and cloths. We needed an unusual cloth for Pentecost and I worked on a design for several weeks when I saw the Stitch and Slash class. My design changed a lot and Carol Ann's instructions made it easy to transfer my ideas to fabric. No one but my husband has seen the finished project; what will everyone in our congregation think? I really like it, but wish I had had the time to search for more fabric and embellishments.

What are you most proud of?

The fact that I finished on time!

It's amazing!! Your church will love it!! I am a retired pastor and have made many stoles & altar clothes in my life, and I think this is magnificent! And you can add more embellishments if you want before next year!
