old bowling ball....500 pennies....tube of silicone(clear)

What was your inspiration?

My inspiration....Canadian pennies no longer being used...I had a large jug of them so decided .....instead of cashing them in...I would use them to make .

What are you most proud of?

I am so happy to be able to use my 35 year old bowling ball for something useful as I no longer bowl. Looks great.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Be sure to wash the pennies....and sand and wash down the bowling ball.. I tried a glue .my husband thought would work...however... the next morning pennies had fallen off. I spent hours removing all the pennies and scraping the glue off....

I then tried a few different glues to find something that would work. Only glue one half of ball....let dry and then turn over and finish.
