What materials did you use? Indygo Junction pattern, Henry Glass "Sew Be It" fabrics, kid and doll t-shirts, fabric pens and paints, "30 Minute Doll Clothes" book, elastic and 1" grosgrain ribbon

What are you most proud of? We like our Pen Pal letters we painted on our t-shirts, and we like the ribbons we used instead of elastic.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't paint on the doll t-shirt over the Velcro strips because you can't heat-set them with an iron. Put something inside your shirts to keep the paints from going through. Take S'Mores breaks! Ask someone to serge the seams and add ruffles for you (doll ruffles made with a Ruffling Foot), and if you use a drawstring instead of elastic add 2 buttonholes to the front to pull the ribbons out. We sewed our ribbons to the PJs in the back so they wouldn't pull out.

You both did a great job! Congratulations on finding a fun friend who likes to sew - that's the best kind :-)
