What was your inspiration?
I was looking for a simple and quick quilt pattern for a baby - and couldn't find what I was looking for . Either I didn't like the design, it was too complicated, the wrong size, or just boring. So, I tried my hand at designing a baby quilt myself, and this was the result.
What are you most proud of?
Not only did this quilt meet my need, but it convinced me that I have the ability to design quilts that express my love for quilting from beginning to end.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Pre-wash your batting to reduce shrinkage when your quilt is washed. Soak the batting in warm water (no detergent), Spin, and dry on medium.
