Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. I used acrylic polymer based paints in colors similar to the ones on the supply list on a black gesso primed stretched canvas. Using the colors straight from the tube gave a lot of depth to the painting and quite a bit of dry brush highlighted and shaded the pears and pitcher. After completing the work, I used a matte medium to seal and bring the colors and textures together for an unbroken finish.

Nice pops of colour Lisa! I like the textured look beneath the pitcher and pears, really brings interest to the entire painting.

Nice colors! I like the idea of using the matte medium over it; I was thinking I might try that on one of my other paintings to give it a more finished look.

Nice colors and light.
