What was your inspiration?
I love right angle weave. If you follow my patterns you know, it comes up in my work ALL-THE-TIME! This bracelet uses one of my favorite techniques and then takes it to a new levels by incorporating some fun needle work over the top with seed beads and Swarovski crystals. Some days you just have to play with your favorites and see what happens.
What are you most proud of?
I'm proud that after so many years of working with certain techniques, it seems there's always something new to do with them!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time. This project can be time consuming, but definitely rewarding. Just be sure to budget your time well and if you need to stop to place a stop bead on the ends of your work so it doesn't come apart. Also make sure your half hitch knots are strong.
