Materials

Cotton/linen. Purchased printed fabric panel by DesinTeam (South Africa). Purchased duck down/feather inner (Granny Goose). Emboidery thread from Madeira and Isacord.

What was your inspiration?

I love peacock feathers and wanted to combine with a printed black-and-white print panel - purchased from a fabric warehouse (found in the off-cut bin).

What are you most proud of?

The overall effect was just what I envisioned.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I tried "framing" the print with sashing and mitred corners, but the applique presented neater.
