What was your inspiration?
My Client gave me the brief of:
*Peacock Blue
*5O's Inspired
*3/4 in length
*Strapless
So I designed this dress with her in mind, I pleated some Silk Chiffon to give a soft look to the bront and added a large diamanted brooch to complete the detailing. As I didn't want the dress to look too prom like, I lowered the back hem into slight train and completed the whole look with 50 irredescent buttons and loops. The whole dress was cut with gored panels which created a full effect.

Her reaction when we did the final fitting.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Always do a toile (rough version in cotton), to ensure you get the correct fit and length and be prepared for handstitching 20 metres of hem looool
