Peach Scrub Soap

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy workshop:
Sensuous Self-Made Soap »

Instructions

I followed the techniques shown in the Sensuous Self-made Soap workshop.

Difficulty:

Category: Other

Type of item: Functional

For: Unisex

Style: Eco-Friendly, Traditional, Classic

Materials

Coconut oil, olive oil, sunflower oil, palm kernel oil, castor oil, water, lye, ground apricot kernels, orange and yellow oxide colorants, peach fragrance oil

What was your inspiration?

My friend's teenage daughter asked me to make this soap. She loves the smell of peaches and likes having the scrubby texture that the ground up apricot kernels give this soap.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take the Sensuous Self-Made Soap workshop and learn how to make your own sudsy creations!!! It's fun and feels sooo much better than chemical-filled store-bought soap.
