Materials
This was my first real quilt (aside from a couple of table runners). I designed the quilt using the computer program, Electric Quilt, and used a fabric collection (name unknown). It measures 102 inches square.
What was your inspiration?
I was initially a clothing seamstress and love fabric. It's very hard for me to cut beautiful fabric into tiny shapes, so I used Electric Quilt to design a patter that let me use larger pieces of fabric. The blocks are 24" squares.
What are you most proud of?
This was my first quilt!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Jump in and give it a try. It's amazing how the patterns reveal themselves when the blocks are repeated.
