What are you most proud of? I created this pattern myself for a class I teach on paper piecing. I already knew how to paper piece, but I took this class before I created the pattern and taught, and I learned a lot of things from the class. It was very helpful and I feel I'm a much better paper piecer because of it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take this class. Also, I created the pattern to go in steps. The small stars are perfect starter blocks. the star in the top right corner was the perfect next step. I was thrilled to see the confidence in my students when they went on to the last star, which definitely had an added degree of difficulty with the long and uneven pieces.

Love it. Fabulous choice of fabrics. Golds actually look metallic.

Thank you ladies! Mimi, I quilted it with metallic thread to give it a little glimmer, but you can only see it up close.
