Gems worsted wt. by Louet, 100% machine washable merino wool, 100 gr / 175 yds skeins. 1 Skein each of color A and color B. Optional: small amount of another color for diamonds around crown. ( childs uses the same amount in Gems sort wt.)
What was your inspiration?
I love playing with graph paper and creating designs that translate well for knitting. I buy undyed yarn and dye it glorious shades. From that I get inspiration too.
What are you most proud of?
Froma distance this hat looks far more complicated than it really is. Especailly if you incorporate more colors.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid of 2 color knitting and use larger needles if you have a tighter gauge.
