What was your inspiration?
Fabric with many fun cat designs just screamed at me to want to be featured in some crazy patch. I purchased the fabric specifically for making such designs, of which I've done many.
What are you most proud of?
I think this crazy-patch block came out looking really cute.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you are new to this type of project, there is a free Craftsy mini-class on making zippered pouches that you may find helpful. Also, if you are new to crazy-patching, just do a web search for "how to crazy patch." You'll find some helpful guidelines. Combine the two and voil! - you can start designing your own. Be sure to use interfacing or batting inside your pouch to provide an appropriate weight.
