What was your inspiration?
I'd been looking at some Seminole-type designs and decided to give that style a try on a bag.
What are you most proud of?
The fabrics were not equally stretchy, so getting them to match was a bit of a challenge.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Fabrics very similar in the extent to which they stretch are easiest to use in patchwork designs when matching diagonal seams. This is far more important than when matching seams at a right angle.
