What are you most proud of? I researched different stitches from many sources to create this one-of-a-kind crib blanket for my first grandchild. There was no pattern or measurements to guide me. Each block has a unique pattern. Only a few use the same color. In Patchwork for Baby 1 you can view additional blocks..

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Research new stitches to learn something new. Be creative and have fun!

You certainly are being creative and have done a brilliant job - congratulations on your work.

Many thanks Beth. I crocheted for years - then got hooked on quilting :D

This is so fun & colorful for a new grandbaby! Maybe you have a new career in crocheting quilt patterns.

Te he Darns! I don't know about a new career. Hubby just retired after 40 years and I'm hoping we'll both be enjoying some down time for awhile :D

You know - now that I think about it - this was my 1st "quilt". I've crocheted for years. This was made long before I tried (and fell in love with) quilting. Simon is now 5.
