What are you most proud of? So happy to have completed it as this was my first time making a duvet cover. I made a few mistakes along the way and had to rip out some... but I am so pleased I have completed this. I am surprising them with it on their bed when they arrive home from holidays:))))

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid to try something new. I just searched the net for advice on how to make a duvet.

What a great way to combine quilting with duvet covers! I never used a duvet until I was in Ireland last Oct. Your daughter is going to love it.

I have just been to her house and made up their bed with the duvet and it looks pretty good, if I say so myself! Btw we need duvets here to keep us warm ha!

We always take our down comforter with us in the motor home & I have made covers for it. But now I am going to try your idea, with fabrics that will coordinate with the vehicle. Thank you again for sharing.

Argh!!! Im taking a break from flying geese... although I have finally got the right size:) they are sending me a little bit crazy! Btw I used french seames for my duvet as I was wanted it to be able to stand up to lots of laundering. Cant wait to see yours when completed:)
