1. Type the recipents' names on computer.2. Choose an interesting font and size to about 3cm tall
3. Yell and scream until printer accepts cardstock is actually A4 and can be printed on
4. Slice names into ~5cm wide strips
5. Slice scrapbooking papers into 1cm and 2cm wide strips. (Laying a sheet of 1cm graph paper on top helps - or you could draw lines with pencil)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It's really easy, but 1cm is a bit fiddly - you might want tweezers if you have stiff fingers.
