Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: This 4 tier wedding cake was made with vanilla and chocolate pound cake tiers, iced with Swiss meringue butter cream, covered in fondant and decorated with hand made gum paste pastel coloured roses, hydrangea and blossoms. I use the butter cream recipe taught by Joshua John Russell. I learned how to make gum paste roses from Nicholas Lodges' classes. Cutters were used to make the hydrangea and blossoms and then attached with royal icing using the Wilton royal icing recipe.
