What was your inspiration?
I saw this quilt hanging in a vendor booth at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Fesival several years ago. I purchased it as a kit. The pattern was by Kaffe Fassett and Liza Prior Lucy. I love all fabrics by Kaffe! The original quilt had a border and was square. I am not a fan of square quilts so I adjusted my rows so the length would be greater than the width plus I left off the border.
My good friend did the quilting on her longarm machine.
What are you most proud of?
My blocks/rows lined up fairly well.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just have fun with the fabrics. You can't pick a wrong/ugly fabric from Kaffe.
