What was your inspiration?

Looking for a fairly simple baby bib pattern that I could customize with my own colors and/or graphics.

What are you most proud of?

I have made about a dozen of these bibs so far, varying the colors and edging styles. The basic bib pattern is quite adaptable to your own preferences. I plan to make more variations with different closures, graphic designs, etc.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Some of the pattern instructions assume that you are an experienced crocheter. If you get stuck on something, such as "make a button loop", google the key terms 'crochet' and 'button loop' to find more detailed instructions and/or videos to follow.

I use velcro buttons instead, I have also made them with crochet buttons!

Velcro is great, but these flaps aren't designed to be overlapping, they would need to be extended (which an experienced crocheter could figure out how to do). Crochet buttons would be fun!
