What was your inspiration?
We are going to a family members wedding and after looking in my daughter's closet decided she needed a pretty dress to wear. We went out shopping and I couldn't find anything that I wanted her to wear. So when I came back from shopping I looked in my big stash of patterns and found an easy one. I had two and a half days to make it and wasn't sure if I could finish it. But I did!
What are you most proud of?
I decided not to add the liner on the inside and the band along the bottom of the dress was not part of the pattern. I was hoping it would come out really nice when I decided to change things up a bit and I think it did! I am really proud of the fact that it really didn't take long. I cut my pattern pieces on after noon and sewed the top up. The next day I did the rest and finished in the early afternoon. I am so proud of myself for finishing before my deadline!
