Instructions
I used a couple different sizes - and it is a simple - sew the squares together. The squares are separated by strips - which are pretty easy to sew onto the squares after a row is completed.Difficulty:

Cotton materials for the pieced top, flannel for the back, low-loft polyester batting, thread, sewing supplies & tools.
What was your inspiration?
Co-worker - he likes parrots and wanted a tropical quilt made. I used a few squares with the parrots print for the inside corners. He picked the colors and I also made 2 shams and some pillows to match.
What are you most proud of?
How well it went with his bedroom decor.
