I placed a printout of the tower underneath a piece of wax paper, then rubbed a little bit of shortening on the wax paper. I then traced the tower using royal icing. Make sure you leave space between the top, middle, and lower parts of the tower. You'll do this 4 times so you have 4 sides to assemble. Allow it to harden completely (a day), then carefully peel away paper. Assemble the 4 lower sections together using more RII, followed by the middle and top, and allow the 3 sections to dry separately before you assemble them on top of each other. Finally, stack the 3 sections using RI.....voila!
