What materials did you use? Linen chenille and thai silk lining. I added 3 pairs of stitches covered hook and eye to close jacket up when necessary. 3 cm width of frayed fabric was used for the trim. I joined 2 stainless steel necklaces to make the hem weights. These necklaces cost more than 50% of total cost of jacket material.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use good strong silk for the lining; don't cut cost on the lining because there is so much hand stitching on it, it makes the whole hand stitching journey more bearable! And it forms the most important main support of jacket.

Looks so elegant and costly. A beautiful and well constructed jacket. Love it!
