do your classes teach those who are left handed as well ?

For shuttle tatting, since both hands are used and everyone feels "all thumbs" at first, I usually recommend that left handers at least try tatting right-handed at first. If you then feel more comfortable switching hands, do whatever feels more natural to you. Tatting proceeds in a clockwise direction when tatting right handed, so be aware that tatting left-handed will reverse everything mirror image, except for the order of the double stitch halves, it's still first half followed by second half.
