What materials did you use? mercerized cotton yarn

What are you most proud of? the patience I developped in crocheting round after round

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The pattern description I found complicated and therefore worked from the chart. The yarn is not the same everywhere. So I had to try out several qualities and several hook sizes first. If the crocheted piece is not the required measure you have to develop an idea how to continue with part of the pattern. It will work, definitively. Getting a nice umbrellar to take apart is another story. However, in Switzerland I found a factory that sells "raw-umbrellars".

How immensely talented you are! I hope you are able to pass-on your incredible "savoir-faire" (know-how). Exquisitely executed!

EXCEPTIONALLY WONDERFUL TALENT. DO YOU THINK I COULD DO THIS WITH ONLY ONE HAND? I DO CROCHET, BUT HAVE NOT TRIED SUCH AN INTRICATE PATTERN. WHERE MIGHT I GET THIS PATTERN? EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL!!!
