Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over it became a butterfly.

Isn't that a beautiful thought? Full of hope and purpose. Just like you. Did you know that "papillon" means butterfly in French?

The bottom of this charming raglan sweater is knit in a beautiful Papillon "butterfly" stitch. The yoke is knit in a pretty cable and lace pattern. And don't you just love the over-sized collar and charming seed stitch details?

Beautiful design. Questions: is it knit top-down, or bottom-up; and are the sleeves picked up and knit top-down, or are they knit in the round and attached?
