I used a combination of vintage and new fabrics, buttons etc.. Whate ever i could finds to make each block different.

What was your inspiration?

After watching the SEw hooked demonstration and several others i decided to give it a go. I'm totally hooked. Thanks to Jennifer Rogers Ofenstein and others for their wonderful creations.

What are you most proud of?

I love this technique because the results are instant and each block tells its own story, so it allows the hobbiest to become very creative.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Watch the tutorials on foundation paper piecing since there is lots of help and advice out there. I began choosing patterns which were simple to begin with and each block was sewn several times to develop my understanding. My only wish was that i had a wider selection of back ground fabrics for each block.
